Physical distancing in our Reception Area

Physical distancing in our Treatment Bay:  Each patient chair is already more than 6 feet/2 meters apart but we will also leave one chair empty in between to increase distancing.  We also have patient chairs in private enclosed treatment rooms.

Most orthodontic procedures are thankfully already non-AGP (Non-Aerosol-Generating Procedure) but we are modifying how and when we perform the few procedures generating aerosol to minimize aerosol in our environment.

Temporal distancing:  Appointments are staggered over time to minimize the number of patients at any given time in our clinic and to allow for increased time for enhanced cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces.  Normal IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) protocol of treatment areas and sterilization continues as always.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):  We comply with and have ensured adequate inventory of supplies following the guidelines from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).
