Dr. Claire Tjan
Dr. Tjan pursued a residency at the University of Toronto for specialty training in Orthodontics after graduating as a general dentist in 1987 from the University of Toronto and spending a year at the Toronto Western Hospital as a dental intern. In 1990, she graduated as a licensed specialist in Orthodontics. In 1991, she earned her Master of Science degree for her research in the area of Three-Dimensional CT scans in craniofacial patients (conducted at the University of Toronto and Hospital for Sick Children). She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Orthodontics. In addition to practicing in KW, Dr. Tjan gave back to her school by serving as a clinical instructor for 15 years at the Graduate Orthodontic Clinic at the University of Toronto. She is now focusing all of her attention on providing orthodontic care as a licensed specialist in this community. Her only distractions are learning how to add more spin to her tennis backhand and how to locate portage entries more efficiently. Dr. Tjan, along with Amy, Patang, Mani and Maegan are looking forward to meeting you and your family to discuss options to achieve a healthy bite and a great smile!
