Announcement from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontarios (March 9, 2022):

“While the Government has decided that masking requirements will be removed in most places on March 21, this does not include health-care settings. Dentistry is a health care profession and infection prevention and control requirements, including PPE requirements, are essential to the delivery of safe and effective oral health care. The Ministry of Health continues to require that all patients are screened before being treated. N95 respirators (or equivalent) must be used for any patient interactions involving confirmed, suspected or probable COVID-19 cases, as well as for any aerosol generating procedure (AGP), regardless of screening.”

We prioritize patient comfort by using advanced orthodontic systems delivering light, physiologically-friendly forces which respect biological responses, including bonded braces and removable appliances (including clear active ones).  We offer convenient appointments from our location at Fischer-Hallman Road and University Avenue which is at the junction of Kitchener and Waterloo.  Our office is pleased to offer appointments during the day, after-school and after-work hours.  Scheduling of appointments is conveniently done via email so that appointments may be reviewed for changes or confirmed at your convenience.

We welcome you to request a courtesy consultation to meet Dr. Claire Tjan and her team and discuss your orthodontic needs.  Since Dr. Tjan established her practice in 1992 (25 years ago!) she has very much enjoyed providing orthodontic care in Kitchener-Waterloo as a Specialist in Orthodontics.  Her former patients are returning with great smiles bringing siblings, friends, partners, and their children for treatment.  Even parents of former patients are seeking their turn for a healthy bite and a great smile!
