We at KW Orthodontics feel that community participation is a priority, whether it be sponsoring a team or event, or fundraising for local charities. We sponsored four local sports teams in 2024!
KW Orthodontics has partnered with food4kids waterloo region to raise money for this wonderful organization. Food4kids is a registered charity that provides an essential service for local children experiencing chronic hunger. They deliver nutritious food packages directly to at-risk, vulnerable children when they are not in school and need our help the most. It is estimated that at least 4,000 children in our community do not have access to the nourishment they need to thrive mentally, physically, or socially. School nutrition programs help, but these programs only exist during the weeks that children are attending school. This leaves 11-12 weeks of the year where vulnerable children may go hungry.
KW Orthodontics aims to raise donations to foods4kids waterloo through a book program. Please check out our bookshelf located in the waiting area and if you’d like to take one home we are asking for minimum $5 donations to foods4kids, or if you’d like to donate a book to our shelf Patang would be glad to assist you.
